Kellacher mengenang momen ketika Christie pertama kali menembus skuad utama di bawah asuhan John Hughes dan mendapat bimbingan dari para pemain senior.
"It's the stuff of dreams when you're a wee boy playing at the Aquadome, where it all started for Ryan, and then he's off to the World Cup, it's a phenomenal story," sebut Kellacher.
Performa Christie langsung meroket sejak masuk ke tim utama. Manajer saat itu terpukau dengan kualitas yang ia miliki.

"When Ryan came up into our first team under John Hughes, he excelled, and the brilliant thing was that he had a great bunch of boys around him," kata Kellacher.
Para pemain senior seperti Gary Warren, Graeme Shinnie, dan Richie Foran disebut berperan besar dalam membimbing Christie di awal kariernya.
"Guys like Gary Warren, Graeme Shinnie, Richie Foran and all these boys looked after him and took him under their wings, and as soon as he came into our first team he never looked back," lanjut Kellacher.
Ia juga memberikan apresiasi kepada Charlie Christie, ayah sang pemain, yang berhasil mendidik putranya tetap membumi di tengah ketenaran.
"He kicked on, and you just knew.
Yogi couldn’t believe how good he was, and he has done all there is to do," tambah Kellacher.
Peningkatan performa dan determinasi Christie membuatnya layak mendapatkan segala kesuksesan yang diraih saat ini.
"I give Charlie a lot of credit for keeping him grounded, because Ryan became a different beast and you could see the drive he had to want to get better and push himself even more," ujar Kellacher.
Kellacher juga memuji kinerja pelatih tim nasional Steve Clarke yang berhasil menyatukan para pemain hingga lolos ke tiga turnamen besar dalam enam tahun terakhir.
"He deserves everything he gets, because he is such a good guy.
We’re all really lucky that we’ve had a chance to see him play at our stadium, and it’s quite phenomenal to see him going off to a World Cup," ungkap Kellacher.
Atmosfer positif di dalam tim menjadi kunci kebahagiaan para pemain saat membela negara.
"I can’t wait to watch him play in it.
It’s not often you get to see your country at a World Cup, and a lot of credit has to go to Steve Clarke for the job he’s done," kata Kellacher.
Skuad asuhan Steve Clarke menunjukkan kebersamaan yang erat di dalam maupun di luar lapangan.

"You can see that they love being together, and when you’re enjoying your football there is no better feeling," tutup Kellacher.
