"It was a moment that is difficult to put into words. We knew what it meant for the country and for everyone who believed in us.
Seeing the joy of my teammates, the coaching staff and the supporters is something that will stay with me forever," kata Arcanjo.
Arcanjo diprediksi mengisi posisi menyerang dalam formasi 4-2-3-1 arahan pelatih Bubista setelah mencatatkan musim kompetisi domestik yang impresif di Portugal.
"A special moment," ujar Arcanjo mengenai keberhasilan klubnya mengalahkan Braga di final domestik.
Musim lalu dinilainya sebagai periode perkembangan positif baik secara individu sebagai pemain maupun sebagai pribadi dalam mencetak sejarah klub.
"It was a very positive season. On a personal level, I see each season as an opportunity to keep improving and evolving.
I grew as a player and, above all, as a person.
We also managed to achieve something historic that will always be part of the club's history," kata Arcanjo.
Kini fokus beralih ke tantangan yang lebih besar di Piala Dunia karena Tanjung Verde tergabung bersama tim kuat Spanyol dan juara dunia dua kali, Uruguay.
"We know the quality Spain has and the challenge that lies ahead of us, but we also know what we are capable of when we are united and focused.
Our goal is to compete at the highest level in every match and represent Cape Verde in the best possible way," tegas Arcanjo.
Target utama tim nasional Tanjung Verde adalah terus menunjukkan mutu sepak bola mereka dan menciptakan momentum bersejarah baru di tingkat internasional.
"To create more historic moments for our country. To show the world the quality that exists in our football," kata Arcanjo.
Seluruh capaian sejauh ini diakui sebagai hasil dari kerja keras, pengorganisasian tim yang matang, serta keyakinan yang konstan dari seluruh elemen tim.

"There has also been a lot of hard work, organisation and a constant belief that we could achieve something historic," pungkas Arcanjo.
